CLICK On the Apple icon.

CLICK On System Preferences.

CLICK On Network.

1. CLICK on the PPPOE tab and then remove the check mark from CONNECT USING PPPOE

2. CLICK on the TCPIP tab and make sure it is set to Configure: Using DHCP. If it reads MANUALLY, CLICK on the drop down arrow and choose Using DHCP

3. REMOVE any DNS Servers

4. CLICK Apply Now.

PPPOE is now disabled and DHCP is enabled on MAC OSX

You should now be able to CLOSE the SYSTEM PREFERENCES and open your favorite web browser and have fun surfing the Internet.
