To set up Outlook on Windows 98, follow these steps:

1. Download the latest updates to Microsoft Outlook at http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/.
2. Install Outlook.
3. Double-click on the Outlook icon on your desktop.
4. Click Tools.
5. Click Services.
6. Select Accounts.
7. Click on the Mail tab.
8. Click Add.
9. Select Mail from the pop-up menu.
10. Type the name you want email recipients to see in the Display Name field.
11. Type your email address, including the @ sign and the domain, such as username@wbhsi.net
12. Click Add.
13. Select Internet E-Mail from the Add Service to Profile menu.
14. Click OK.
15. In the Mail Account Properties window, type your mail account name. The mail account name is the second part of your email address, such as wbhsi.net
16. Click the Servers tab.
17. Type pop.wbhsi.net, in the Incoming Mail Server field.
18. Type smtp.wbhsi.net in the Outgoing Mail Server field.
19. Select the first Log On Using option.
20. Using only lowercase, type your user name by the Log On Using option. Your user name is the first part of your email address..
21. Type your password exactly as it was given to you (password is case-sensitive) by the Log On Using option.
22. Click the Connection tab.
23. Select I use a modem to access my email.
24. Click OK.
25. Again, click OK.
26. Close Outlook. When you reopen Outlook, you can send and receive emails.
