Outlook 2003 provides a wizard that guides you through the setup process. To use the wizard to setup your account, follow these steps:
- Open Outlook 2003 and the wizard will appear.Click Next.
- The wizard continues to guide you through the setup process. Select Yes.
- Click Next.
- Select POP3. Click Next.
- Type the name you want your email recipients to see in the Your Name field.
- Type your email address, including the @ sign and domain name, such as yname@yourisp.com, in the E-mail Address field (where yourisp.com is the domain of your Internet Service Provider).
- Type your incoming mail server name, which is pop.yourisp.extension, such as pop.yourisp.com.
- Type your outgoing mail server name, such as mail.yourisp.com.
- Type your user (account) name, which is often the same as the first part of your email name, such as yname.
- Type your password. If you are not worried about someone accessing your account, click “Remember password” to automatically fill this field when you sign on.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish. Use your email account to send and receive messages anytime.
