Like previous versions of Windows, Vista provides a Help tool to assist you in navigating and using Vista. To access the Help tool, follow these steps:

1. Click Start.
2. Click Help and Support.
3. To search for the item you need help with, type a few words or a phrase from your question into the Search Box and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

If you prefer to browse for information relating to your question or problem, click the Browse button (it looks like a book with a blue cover) to display a list of topics, much like the table on contents in a book.
